Sky Sox Reminders and notes: Thank you all for a great baseball season. Everything went very well this summer, and we will have the final numbers somewhere near the end of September for the total amount earned by the band and total amount that will go into the band’s general fund. I appreciate everyone keeping their commitments and communicating any necessary schedule changes in a timely manner. It definitely makes a big difference in my ability as the coordinator to keep the stand staffed appropriately, and to make sure that we kept our commitment to the Sky Sox organization. I want to take this opportunity to thank our webmaster, William Hosey, for all the support he has given throughout the season, keeping the schedule updated, getting us set up for the message board, and getting me direct access to update the volunteer schedule in real time directly to the web page as requests were received. His efforts behind the scenes have made it so much easier for me to keep everything organized and to keep everyone up to date with the most current schedule. I would like to thank Lisa Weeres for stepping in to keep things going while I was out of town on vacation as well. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you. I have completed printouts for everyone showing each month’s total shifts worked, and the total earned for your student’s account. I will have these available at the parent meeting Thursday, September 4th. If you are not able to attend the parent meeting, please have your student see me for his or her printout so that you can verify the dates worked and final total earned to your student’s band account. If there are any questions or concerns regarding dates worked and total credits, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will be unavailable from September 5th until approximately September 15th, however I will respond to your requests as soon as I am able. If you worked and do not receive a printout, please let me know so that I can get one for you. Once again, thank you to everyone.
